MGW Films - Video to Web

MGWFilms aim to produce films to promote education and learning in schools and universities.

We also produce Teacher Training DVD's with subjects ranging from art tutorials, through to information technology.

WHAT WE DO...

Our films can be included within an existing school prospectus, integrated into your school website and/or on DVD.

Each film will provide parents and children with a virtual tour of the school as well as providing an insight into the curriculum, culture and philosophy of the institution. It's a great way to make your school stand out and will allow parents and children to experience your school from the comfort of their home or simply by the click of a mouse on your website.

A typical film will include...

  • An overview of the school, including classrooms and facilities
  • Interviews with key staff and pupils
  • Extra Curricular Activities

In addition we can work in conjunction with the pupils, as they script and storyboard the film. While promoting the school, it's a great way for the students to get involved in a fun and engaging educational project.

Schools (UK and International) can opt for a foreign language version.

WHY CHOOSE US?

The Team at MGWFilms is committed to providing great creative and informative resources for education.

We understand how challenging it can be for schools to market themselves and for parents to find the right school. We want to help.

WHO WE WORK WITH?

Aldridge Foundation

We recently worked with The Aldridge Foundation, Producing a web video promoting Latin and Ballroom dancing in school's.

Ed Balls, the Children, Schools, and Families Secretary, has welcomed a pilot scheme launched with Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing show to bring ballroom and Latin dance into school PE lessons. The scheme called Essentially Dance aims to improve children's fitness, self-esteem and social skills and is being piloted with 2,500 children aged 5-16 in 29 primary and secondary schools across the country with funding from The Aldridge Foundation (www.aldridgefoundation.com). Over the next three months, 52 teachers and classroom assistants will receive practical training sessions with professional dance and PE experts supported by a training resource, which includes a step-by-step DVD led by Darren and Lilia, a booklet with easy to follow sessions and a CD with suitable music.

Primary Matters

We have also recently started working with Primary Matters. Primary Matters provide inspirational training and consultancy to support you in developing deep, memorable learning in school. We help you create innovative learning journeys that engage every child, raise attainment and equip children for their future.
